Taz and Chloe Laible-Warner

July 3, 2002 and September. 2, 2002

Picture
Chloe and Taz were two sweetest rabbits that we have ever had and we will miss them dearly.  Taz was my first rescued bunny – he literally showed up on the lawn of my apartment complex.

Somehow, he knew whose doorstep to seek out.  I fell in love with him instantly.  Without question, he was the most mellow rabbit that I have ever met.  His desires in life were simple – he wanted love (especially kisses and scratches behind the ears), food (especially treats), and a buddy to snuggle with.  He lived to be 7.5 years of age and enjoyed every moment of life.

Chloe was the exact opposite of Taz – she was a fireball.  She was without question the Queen of our house and wanted everything only when she requested it (including love and affection).   The one exception, of course, was Taz, her soulmate and buddy, who she’d let love her at anytime.

Chloe only made 3 short years in this world; she burned herself out too early.  Despite her numerous health problems, Chloe was a fighter and a trooper.  She never struggled with her numerous medicines, and towards the end of her life she learned to trust us completely.

I will never forget her brave attitude and everyone who knew her (including our vets) fell in love with her.  She left us only a month after Taz.  We are happy, however, that she suffers no more and that she is once again snuggled up to her buddy Taz at Rainbow Bridge.   Seldom a day goes by that we don’t miss their company.
