Your Furry Friend's Name: Kelley
How old were they: One year, 11 months I adopted Kelley from NTRS on May 30, 2003. He had a rough start in life, as he was going to be euthanized by animal control due to being starved and infected with a very bad case of ear mites. Luckily, NTRS found him in time. Kelley was then adopted from NTRS by someone who later returned him. Why? I will never know – Kelley was the most wonderful, sweet bunny ever. In a way however, I am grateful b/c their mistake allowed Kelley to come into my life. I had Kelley for only 8 short months before GI stasis took his life, but in that short amount of time he managed to completely steal my heart. I hope that at least the last 8 months of his life were good for him. He had full roam of my home office and only went into his cage when HE wanted to. He would always bite my feet when I was on the computer and not paying attention to him. If that didn’t work, he would drag his litter box into the middle of the room and dump it over! He certainly had personality-PLUS! The thing I loved most about him though was the way he loved to be held and cuddled. Kelley was my first bunny-love and I know I will never find another like him. I will miss him always – even as he lives on in my heart. Jennifer Kelley was loved by all at NTRS. He will be dearly missed. |
