Janice Joplin

Beloved By:  Suzette & J.J.

Crossed to the Rainbow Bridge:  February 15, 2008

She sure lived up to her name!  She was spunky and not afraid of anything.  She loved to have her little face ‘mushed’ – that would guarantee sugar for all!  Losing her mobility did nothing to deter her sweet nature and love for life.  She loved her life and her people and home.  We called her ‘our little old lady from Pasadena’ - before we realized she was a Californian!  She had a great life in the Sanctuary for 4 years until she came to us to enrich our lives.  And that she did in so many ways.  She sure would let you know if you did something that bothered her – nipping was not out of the question the first few weeks we had her!  Then she quickly realized that everything we did, we did for her.  She loved oats, craisins, fresh grass and too many treats to name!  She filled our hearts and lives with love and we miss her with all our hearts.  We are forever proud to have given her a forever home.  Sweet Joperlin, we miss you and love you so much.
