The Haven of Hope is a division of NTRS which cares for rabbits with special needs.  Marilyn, our true bunny hero heads up the Haven of Hope.

Most shelters and many rescue organizations choose not to spend money on injured or sick animals, instead they choose to euthanize. Their protocol is to "spend only on the healthy."

NTRS decided 20 years ago that this would not be an option for us.  We will never euthanize unless there is absolutely no other choice and the rabbit is suffering.  All the rabbits that come into NTRS's care, are given a chance to live and look forward to being adopted with caring people.

Because of this, NTRS is at a critical point financially, we need to raise funds to cover our medical expenses for these rabbits and to be able to keep saving those that will need us in the future. Every little bit counts, so please consider making a donation to our veterinary fund.

Below are some of the bunnies who reside at the Haven of Hope.

Their stories surely inspire us all to never give up on an animal that had the will to survive and live.

Both Usher and Nike have head tilt.
They are a bonded pair and are getting excellent care at NTRS's Haven of Hope.

Lucy survived Texas' record breaking heat wave of over 40 days in 100+ degree weather.  She was kept outside the entire time before being rescued by NTRS.  She is now recovering from cancerous mammary tumors which were discovered while being spayed.
