In early Feb , NTRS was contacted by a woman who had found a rabbit in her back yard. She took the rabbit in and called NTRS because the bunny seemed to have a broken leg and she knew nothing of rabbits.  NTRS took in the now named Cupcake(who's as cute as a cupcake) and took her immediately to Dr. Effie at City Vet. It turned out Cupcake was only about 10 weeks old. Dr. Effie was able to amputated the leg and now the bunny named Cupcake is recovering in a happy state with Sarita, one of the NTRS board members. Cupcake's favorite activity is to ZOOM around the house.  She is fearless, friendly and a truly energetic little rabbit.

Young rabbits have a great ability to recover and there was no way we would give up on this little girl. NTRS was happy to be able to help but such an extensive surgery does eat in to our operating budget.  Click here to help NTRS cover the cost of Cupcakes leg surgery and upcoming spay. You can also buy Raffle Tickets, all proceeds go to care for the rabbits like Cupcake.

We are doing are best to increase our adoptions and find homes for all of the amazing rabbits in our care. If you are interested in adopting please contact us at ntrs_tx@yahoo.com.
