As a non-profit organization, we operate on a severely limited budget of donations from the public.  Your contributions of money, time, and resources are greatly needed.Veterinary costs comprise the bulk of our expenses. Spays and neuters are required for rabbit adoptions, and must be paid in advance by us. Treatment of ill or injured animals is also of primary concern. Food (fresh vegetables, timothy hay, and pellets), litter, housing essentials, and miscellaneous expenses dig into our pockets as well.

Volunteer

Every Saturday our dedicated volunteers come out to the sanctuary and clean rabbit cages. We can always use an extra pair of hands. If cleaning is not your thing, we can also use help doing follow-up calls and working fundraisers like the Bunny Spa Day.  If you are interested in how giving your time could contribute to NTRS please contact NTRS.

Go Grocery Shopping

Use your Kroger or Tom Thumb reward card to have a percentage of each purchase donated to NTRS.

 

To use your Tom Thumb reward card, go to your local Tom Thumb and ask the service desk to include account number: 6876 on your reward card to have 1% of your purchases donated to NTRS. This is part of the Good Neighbor Program.

 

At Kroger you will need a separate donation card. To receive a Kroger card, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Or stop by NTRS and pick one up the next time you need hay or supplies.

Buy A New Car

And Donate your old one to Charity Motors and specify the "North Texas Rabbit Sanctuary" as your charity of choice.  By donating your old vehicle instead of selling, you may actually make more money. Remember all charitable donations are tax deductible and the deduction may be worth more than the car. It also saves you the hassle of having to sell, advertise, etc.

Note: Charity Motors also accepts boats, motorcycles and real estate.
